  Most filter belts are heat treated polyester; some are Polyamide, polypropylene or PPS. Filter belts are used to remove or reduce the number of impurities in a fluid supply. Filtration products and equipment have two basic components, the filter and the media. The filter itself is the frame or housing that holds the media in place as a process stream is run through them.
